We are currently recruiting staff to develop our UK-based geotechnical consultancy business in the areas of offshore wind energy, oil & gas, submarine cables, and land geotechnics.

The aim is to complement the capabilities of other offices of Cathie Associates in Brussels and Paris, and to focus specifically on the opportunities available in the UK and for UK-based clients working overseas.

We are looking for an experienced senior geotechnical engineer or engineering geologist to lead and develop the business unit and the team. The successful candidate is likely to have a marine or offshore background and be qualified at least to MSc level.

As part of the same development we would also like to hear from senior project engineers and project engineers with geotechnical or geological field and office experience.

The location or locations of any future Cathie Associates offices will be decided on the basis of proximity to clients, and the preferences of our staff.

We are always interested to hear from well qualified candidates who believe they would enjoy working with us in any of our offices. As a general rule, we give priority to engineers with a BSc, MSc or PhD in Civil Engineering and a specialisation, or particular interest, in geotechnics or numerical analysis. A few years experience in industry or university teaching would be a plus.
